Construction
Surface mounted waste receptacle is fabricated of 22 gauge stainless steel type 304 alloy 18-8. All exposed surfaces are satin finish. Front outer edges are rounded to 1/2" radius. Unit has no exposed fastening devices or spot welded seams and shall have hemmed up top lip for user safety. Tumbler lock keyed like other ASI washroom equipment retains the waste container in the cabinet. Comes with 9" surface mount collar to convert 0458 unit to surface mount. Capacity: 12 Gallons

Installation
Surface mount unit to wall using No. 10 self tapping screws (by others) through concealed holes provided.

For compliance with ADA Accessibility Guidelines, unit should be installed so that waste receptacle rim is 54" maximum above finished floor (AFF) if clear floor side reach access is provided or 48" maximum AFF if clear floor forward reach access only is provided.

Operation
Unit is emptied by removing disposable bag (supplied by others) or heavy duty reusable liner (not included, see p/n 58-PY). Keyed tumbler lock prevents unauthorized removal.
