ASI 046921AC-6 Semi Recessed Automatic Roll Towel Dispenser/Waste Receptacle

Construction
Semi recessed automatic roll paper towel dispenser and waste receptacle fabricated of 22 gauge stainless steel with exposed surfaces in satin finish. Automatic dispensing mechanism is supplied and powered by C-UL-US and CE approved internal low voltage adapter (supplied) using 110-240VAC, 50/60 Hz. Dispenser activates when hands are placed in sensor zone. Face trim is one piece construction, 1" wide with a 1/4" square return to collar. Door is hinged to cabinet with a full length 3/16" dia. stainless steel multi staked piano hinge and locks to cabinet with tumbler lock keyed like other ASI washroom equipment. Waste container has hemmed edges for safety and is retained by tumbler lock keyed like other ASI washroom equipment. 6" stainless steel collar included for semi recessed mounting.

Installation
RWO: 16-3/8" W x 55" H x 4-1/4" D

Verify all rough-in dimensions prior to installation. Install unit in wall recess using No. 10 self threading pan head or flat head screws (not included) through concealed mounting holes provided. Power is supplied by code approved cable or conduit (by others) to RWO at either of two (2) available locations indicated on diagram and terminated in utility duplex outlet box (provided) inside cabinet. Power required is 110-240 VAC protected by 15A circuit breaker (by others) for low voltage adapter that draws 1/3 amp. Power adapter for dispenser unit is supplied, cabled, and plugged into dispenser and is plugged into duplex outlet (by others). Stainless steel collar is installed on cabinet prior to mounting on wall following instruction sheet provided with unit.

For compliance with ANSI A-117.1, 2015 ABA Standards and 2010 ADA Accessibility Standards, install unit so that top edge of towel dispenser opening is 48" maximum above finished floor (MAX AFF) only if clear floor reach access is provided. Be advised that local codes may require mounting so that top of towel dispenser opening is 40" MAX AFF (e.g. California UBC/Title 24).

For general utility install unit with top of towel dispenser opening between 49" and 56" (1245 to 1422) AFF.

Note that bottom of RWO is 11/16" below top of unit.

Operation
Towels are dispensed automatically when hands are placed in sensor zone. Owner predetermines length of towel by making selections on three position switches for length, delay, and economy. Unit may be reloaded with a full roll to automatically start when finished with an existing partial roll and will continue to feed properly when reloaded with a full roll and partial roll is transferred to stub roll position. Refill dispenser by unlocking door and replacing towel roll for an empty or partially empty unit. Waste container is emptied manually by unlocking the door. Locking compartment and receptacle container prevents unauthorized access or removal.
