Construction

Automatic hand dryer activates from an IR sensor when hands are placed in the activation zone. Sensor is adjustable, 6" - 10". Cover is fabricated of heavy duty, one piece cast iron 1/4" thick that has all exposed surfaces in white porcelain enameled finish. Universal-type motor has aluminum centrifugal turbine with double symmetrical inlet. Heating element is undulated nicrom with a safety thermostat. Cover is fixed to base plate with two vandal proof lock screws with special key wretch. Base plate is 1/8" thick aluminum, includes four (4) holes for wall mounting.

Installation
Verify all rough-in dimensions prior to installation. Hand dryers require a dedicated circuit and must be properly grounded. GFI Circuit protection is recommended. One side of dryer should be mounted to a stud.

Operation

User activates dryer by placing hands 3" - 6" under nozzle. Dryer automatically shuts off 2 seconds after time-out when user removes hands from sensor activation zone.
