Construction
Grab bar with concealed mounting fabricated of 18 gauge stainless steel, seamless construction in satin finish. Bent ends of the tubing pass through the 13 gauge stainless steel flanges and are welded for maximum strength. All exposed welds are ground and polished to blend. Mandrel bending process maintains uniform bar diameter of 1-1/2". Escutcheons are 22 gauge stainless steel in satin finish that snap over flanges to conceal mounting screws.
When properly mounted, all Bradley heavy duty grab bar systems meet or exceed the requirements for ANSI Standard A117.1, the ADA and ABA Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities (ADAAG), and the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standard (UFAS).
Installation
Verify all rough-in dimensions prior to installation. Secure to wall where adequate in-wall
backing exists. Use bar as template to locate mounting holes. Drill holes and set anchors
as appropriate. Mount grab bar and secure mounting screws (not included). Snap
escutcheons into place. Bradley grab bar mounting kits are available in the Accessories section below.
For compliance with ADA Accessibility Guidelines install
unit so that the top of the grab bar is 33" minimum above finished floor (AFF) to 36" maximum
AFF. Conformity and compliance to local and national codes is the responsibility of the installer. Consult local and national accessibility codes for proper installation guidelines.
Warranty
One (1) Year Manufacturer's Warranty - Warranted to be free of defects in material or workmanship for one (1) year from date of sale.
